Final Reading Lessons

The 9th grade AVID class finished up their reading lesson presentations to their classmates today. Their visuals and activities for the class to do were great! Here are pictures from today.

Reading Lessons

The 9th grade AVID students were given the assignment to present a reading lesson to the rest of the class. Students formed groups of three students, and each group of three was given a different strategy to share with the rest of the class.

Presentations started on Monday, and will continue on Wednesday. The groups that have presented so far have done an excellent job.

Our Fundraiser

AVID students are selling these Savanna spirit bracelets, shown above, each for only $1. Each student was given 10 bracelets to sell during the first and last week of the month of February. Money earned from this fundraiser will be used for scholarships and the end of the year banquet. Good luck, AVID students! Sell your bracelets.
